Clockspring Noise

4000 miles in and my Clockspring is making a noise. Brought to ford and they stated “within spec”. More annoying than anything. Anyone else experiencing this?

The clicking part or the whirring part? In any case, mine isn’t making any noise that I’m aware of but just looking for a sense of what you are hearing.

The Clockspring is embedded in the steering wheel and allows the wheel to be turned in circles without interference and allowing the airbag to function.

I've got the same noise since this Wednesday. Scheduled the appointment on Monday to check it out. My car is just about to hit 3k miles.
