I like to clean my car at home, I use different car cleaning products from Walmart, as Meguiars, RainX, Mother's, Turtle Wax, Karcher, etc. You can find those at Auto zone as well

Greenworks 1500psi pressure washer and foam cannon. Pre-rinse entire car, spray wheel cleaner on rims and clean with brush, rinse off, foam entire car, go over with hand wash mitt, pressure rinse off and dry. Wax or clay bar if needed.

You do not have to use motorcraft wash products. Use whatever you want, except dishsoap. I use Meguiar’s Gold Class, but always been curious about chemical guys products. My 23 gets a wash about every 10-14 days depending weather and time of year. No issues at all.
I don’t have the pressure washer, but I have a garden hose and bucket. I have heard Meguiars is popular and I have used it before. Let me ask when you decide the surface needs a clay bar?

Bill, I am not familiar with PPF. I have spent most my life doing was and wax routine. This is something I’ll study.
Since you are going to study might as well look into both PPF (applied professionally) then ceramic coating (also applied professionally). Makes a huge difference in effort to keep the vehicle looking new.

I ready to do my first Cleaning of my new Bronco Sport. I have read the manual on the manufacture approved way to care for my Bronco and the products to use. All manufacturer approved products are all Motorcraft. The manual also cautions car washes because they could damage the wheels and high pressure could damage to the Outer Banks emblem. So that leaves only hand washing. I have had a few cars in my life and these restrictions seem sever. I’m asking the community for help.

I have read many of the posts here. They are full of great advice. I’m looking for a low effort way to take care of my cares exterior and interior. Car washes are preferable as my time is very limited. My last car I kept well maintained mechanical and its appearance for 15-years. I’d like to beat that record.

thank you all.
If it's brand new, then give it a good car wash, hand wash with a microfiber towel is a good idea then one time put a 10 h or 28 graphene coating which is in the ceramic coating family, cost $175 bucks. You can really do it yourself you don't need an expert to put it on. Put it on and just immediately take it off and you're good for 10 years with the 10 h and 20 years for the 20h. Nothing really sticks to it, once in awhile just spray it off with some water and take a microfiber to dry it off (or just take it for a drive down the freeway at about 60-70 miles an hour watch the water beads just roll off and take it home, your good to go)and that's it, that car will look like it's been washed and waxed for 10 to 20 years it's the easiest way to maintain a car and have it always looking good.

After car’s washed/dried and youā€˜re ready to wax it, gently run your hand over it. If it feels rough, or your hand ā€œskipsā€ on the paint . . . It’s time to clay bar then wax.
