Same here. It came from a Kia dealership located in Medina, Ohio. Bag of parts was new for sure. Mirror seemed to be as well.

Thank you for all the info. I finally got it all figures out.
Initially, the homelink did not work, but reading back through the info you provided, I connected Green and White wire from the mirror. It works perfect now.

I installed the Kia mirror today. Thanks to the OP for the info! However, rather than the neck extender mentioned in the original post, I went with the RAM mount part # RAP-B-369AU It does the same job of moving the deeper kia mirror away from the windshield sensor housing, but with a bonus ram ball mount. I got mine on ebay for $16 shipped, just make sure you get the one for Ford/Chrysler/Toyota. They have different part #'s for GM and other makes. My original ram mount was a motorcycle handlebar clamp one that I machined to take the place of the torx screw on the mirror mount. That was $12 plus a couple hours fiddling with making an aluminum sleeve (or two, lol) on the lathe and cutting the screw to just the right length. I might put that back on too and have two ball mounts there, but really wish I had seen the specific windshield Ram mount before doing all that.
Also, FYI the Kia that came with the mirror we are using was a Kia Cadenza. I found a 2017 listing with the VIN and used that on my order, and had no issues getting the mirror from World Kia Parts shipped right away, $13.50 for the mirror and another $14.50 for shipping
. Still, can't beat that price for homelink. I like pushing the buttons better than using google assistant to open the doors, it's just faster and easier to me.
