I was new this year. Picked up my BS one month ago and now I'm going to have to say good bye to this forum. My wife had her (L) hip replaced and finds it much easier to get in/out of the BS than her car. Lots of vehicles changing hands soon.

My new BS goes to her. Her Cherokee goes to our 17 y/o. My paid off F150 goes to our 28 y/o in Vermont. And I drive my '66 until I chose a replacement vehicle. I was told that I should be able to handle a new car payment...lucky me. Why did I give up the BS so easily you ask? I live in a rural town of 27K people and I have seen a dozen or more of them in this town. Two other red ones. Can't believe so many BS were allocated to this area.

I'm looking at a Honda Ridgeline or a Nissan Frontier just to be different.

I was driving my late-90s Pontiac Grand Am to work one morning when I stopped at a light. I noticed the cars in front and behind me were both Grand Ams. Decided right then and there that I wanted to be different, but I didn't want a new car payment. Spent some time perusing eBay motors, made a few calls, then wound up on a Southwest flight to Dallas the next week to pick up a '96 Audi Cabriolet. I really liked that car. It was certainly different. Repair costs started getting out of control a few years later (it had +125K by then), so it had to go, but it was fun while it lasted.

Yeah, you’re still welcome here; I’m sure you’ll still get to drive the BS when it needs gas, you can take the guy out of the Bronco, but you can’t take — well you know
