After the recent Sync 3 update the instrument cluster center display has changed. Regardless of the various different screens available (calm, trip 1, trip 2 Audio etc), the driving speed was displayed as a digital number in large in the center (photo 1). Now the driving speed is small to the right and the lower half of the display is used by a static image of what looks like the "road". But it does not do anything, does not display any information or whether I am too close to the dividing line or anything at all. I am trying all of the available screens but none of them puts the speed back into he center and none of them get rid of that "road" image that doesn't do anything at all. Any clues?

Yeah it took me awhile to realize I could just cycle through them with a click of the button instead of going through the menus the. Back one by one. I was like this takes forever and is silly.

yup....I fixed it. I accidentally hit the button to display the lane keeping image.....duhhh
I have the same question, the lane image is present at all times, no button seems to remove it. In the video at 20s he presses a button that makes the lane image go away but I can't duplicate that. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you pressed the button on the end of the turn signal stalk to enable/disable lane keep aid/assist?

Yes I have. I'm unable to get back to a screen that shows large speedo number and no road symbol, like the OP has in his first picture. I've tried all the 360+ controls that should affect this. Car is stopped & engine off but I don't think that matters? I'm using Calm screen and Trip1 screen.

Answering my own question here, if anyone cares. The large speed display without the road graphic is only available for "Normal" cruise control. If settings are configured for "Adaptive" or "Intelligent" cruise control the road graphic and small speedo number will always be displayed.

Ford did a poor job of documenting this function.
