Can’t log into Ford app after update

I just updated the Ford Pass app- now the Ford App, and I can’t get logged back in. I keep getting error messages. I tried resetting the password and I tried turning my phone off and then on again. I’m afraid to delete the app and then reinstall because I’m worried I’ll lose the pairing with my Bronco Sport. I previously saw the thread about the Apple Watch and the app update, but haven’t seen anything like what I’m experiencing.

I had issues with the App update by Ford also. With my iPhone. IOS 26

1) I couldn't login, I deleted the Ford Pass app and reinstalled the latest. Ford app, which you did.
2) When trying to open the latest app on the phone I would get an error message saying something like JAVA script needs enabled. Turned on JAVA now I had the Login Screen.
3) Tried logging in with existing account and password, this attempted to login but all I got was the spinning symbol for a long time. Would not login. Tried several times.
4) Finally went online with home computer, to Ford.com, My existing password was no longer recognized. Had to use existing account name and use forgot password. Filled in email address to get change password from ford email. Changed password with computer. Logged out.
5) Tried login on iPhone with new password, Couldn't login.
6) Took a break from the frustration

Finally, an hour or two later, I could login with the existing account name with the new password.
Both of my ford vehicles were in the new Ford pass app.

Possibly there was a delay on Ford's end once the Password was changed.

Thank you! I haven’t tried logging on my computer yet. I’ll try that next.
I could log in on my computer with no issues… but I’m still getting an error from the app on my iPhone.. I’m taking my Bronco Sport to the dealership tomorrow for a different matter, so I’ll see if I can get some help with logging in from them.

On the phone, have you tried signing off and signing back in?
Yes. I ended up deleting the app off my phone and then reinstalling it. I’m able to log in now, and it did not delete my settings.
