I have three buttons near my mirror adjuster.

What are they for?

They are the presets for the seat and side mirrors. Adjust your seat and mirrors to where you want them. Then press and hold the 1. That will save those positions, so if they are moved, all you have to do is press 1 and it will go back to that preset. Other than the rear view mirror since that's manual and not on a motor. Useful when it's taken in for service and the tech moves the seat, or if you share the car with a spouse or child so they can have their own preset.

Actually, almost any time you can actually find exactly what you are looking for in these manuals, it is a bit of a miracle. The ones that get me the most often is the meaning of the various symbols used throughout the vehicle. Ford is not alone with this issue.

I’ve had pretty good luck pointing my iPhone camera at the symbol and it often is correct at identifying the dash symbol … probably androids can do that too but IDK
