Built to arrived, how long did it take?

Thank you,it replaced our other Badlands we bought not knowing if or when our order would show.
This one we ordered with the Cyber interior,and Wild peak tires,otherwise,it was identical to the one we traded.

Seems like a lot of people understandably are excited when they get the built notification. Its kinda like congrats, your car didn't get held up in production and will soon be on its way. As much as we all hope they'd get delivered as quickly as possible, thats simply not the case. When your car is built its slotted into a Ford delivery schedule which the consumer and dealer simply don't have access to or knowledge of.

That said,

How long did it take from getting the built notification, to the car arriving at your dealer?

I ordered my badlands Dec 30 2021 and it went into production on 27 June2022

Don't be so sure. My Badlands was ordered on Dec. 04, haven't heard anything

Dam that’s rough. It would be good to know why there’s such a difference. Maybe it was the moonroof? I heard those were known for holding up orders.

I'm not sure. My Brother in law works for the dealer and said they are starting to see ones with the moon roof so I'm hopeful to get in the next month.

Ordered fully loaded BL on 14 Jan 22, built on 29 May delivered 6 July 2022. The vehicle actually arrived to the dealer on 26 June.

It took mine 4wks to get to San Diego. It could get hung up at the border then in Nogales, again if it changes tracks and once more while it waits for a truck to pick it up and bring it to the dealer.
