The wife wanted white (our normal choice here in AZ), but it just didn’t look right for the BS’s lines, so we got Desert Sand:

Can't get past the brush bar that reminds me of a tow bar, all it's missing is the ball-socket IMHO. Ford should have angled it

Yeah, the bull bar's geometry isn't my favorite. The uprights and horizontal sections should be longer with the 45's much shorter. That, or just radiused at the top corners.

I've been considering having a new one fabbed more in line with my preferences. The attachment points will be the problem area, though.

Just a 15-20 degree bend forward at the attachment points would be an improvement
It would. Kinda like the old prerunner style. Problem is it wouldn't fit in my garage anymore. It's that tight in there.

Is that bar strong enough to push a car or light truck?

Even though it’s direct-to-frame, it’s not designed as a push bar (mating points and surface area is all wrong), so I wouldn’t. But a purpose-built bar using the existing mount points would.

Proper push bar:

Thanks. I guess the mounting points would have to be strong enough as well. I’d like to have something like that on my Big Bend but I think it would mash the body with its non-frame.

Your Bronco looks sweet! Glad you finally got it.
