That can’t be good for a wiper motor can it? Don’t the wipers try to “go home” (into starting position) when the vehicle is started? Wouldn’t that put stress/strain on the motor if the wipers couldn’t come back down?... I guess when snow is expected, turn the vehicle off with wipers in midstream....
When I was checking out some BS’s on a local dealer’s lot I actually noticed the recessed, but fully exposed when taking snow into the equation, wiper position.
If there’s no de-icer element there that wouldn’t be so bad if the front defroster could reach that area but I doubt it? (I don’t know that as I don’t own one, yet, just from observation...).
