As another datapoint, Iām also getting similar issues with 22251 which Iāve had installed for over a month now in my Ranger.
I actually just posted this on Ranger5g yesterday, the problem just started a few days ago:

my ā19 Lariat with Nav.
A few other tidbits:
- Iāve been on version 22251...
Itās an aftermarket security alarm that some dealers install but if you donāt buy it it isnāt enabled but is still left on the vehicle.
Saw the same on the Ranger 5G forums. Iāll try to find a linkā¦
While Iām pretty sure itās not the cause and will be curious what the service comes back with, I wouldnāt be one to use cruise control while the transmission is in sport mode.
That sort of defeats the purpose of that mode doesnāt it?
Thatās a thing now a days? You can just turn off the vehicle without putting it in park first? (I donāt have a BS, yet, so Iām curious on this)
Maybe thatās whatās caused this since it did throw transmission errors?
ā¦ just spit-balling hereā¦
Condensation is normal (kinda expected in the right conditions), but it should dissipate after a period of time as indicated in the manual. If you are driving around and it continues to stay that could be a sign of the venting not working as designed.
A friend of mineās Mazda 3 has a front...
The grey/white āAā with a slash through it means the function (āfeatureā) is enabled, but hadnāt met all the conditions to actually shut the motor off. There are many factors that determine that, but if theyāre met then it will go green and shut off.
Iām sure we all know our ālightsā that can...
Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by āthey couldnāt balance the tiresā? It just kind of sounds odd that theyād be so fast to give you new tires?
Thatās great MPGās! Was that mostly ālevelā driving I would think, or did that include some elevation changes?
As an aside, about half of the four hour trip I take when I go āup northā is level and the other half goes up and down. Itās that up of the upān down that can make a dent into the...
Nice! Dealer did ceramic on the Ranger I got 2 years ago. Still holding up decently, but I have been keeping up with it too so that helps.
yeah, who knows for the delivery mileage. Should be all good Iād think...
Iāve been good with my various 4 Fords since 2005 (ā05 Freestar van, ā07 Fusion, ā17 Escape and ā19 Ranger) bringing to my dealer(s) for their bi-annual check-ups.
Iām a firm believer of 6 months and/or 5,000 miles (I do at 8k in kilometres). The timing with both vehicles (17 and 19) works out...
Show us the pics!!! ?
Just browsing around but also wanted to check in from Mississauga, Ontario.
Currently happy with our ā17 Escape and ā19 Ranger, but Iāll keep watching the progression of these as they check all the right buttons. By the time I might be ready to get rid of the Escape maybe...
That canāt be good for a wiper motor can it? Donāt the wipers try to āgo homeā (into starting position) when the vehicle is started? Wouldnāt that put stress/strain on the motor if the wipers couldnāt come back down?
When I was checking out some BSās on a local dealerās lot I actually noticed...
