  1. Sync 3.4 Build 22251 Default Issue

As another datapoint, Iā€™m also getting similar issues with 22251 which Iā€™ve had installed for over a month now in my Ranger. I actually just posted this on Ranger5g yesterday, the problem just started a few days ago: ā€œ my ā€˜19 Lariat with Nav. A few other tidbits: - Iā€™ve been on version 22251...
  2. What is this chirping sound after ignition?

Itā€™s an aftermarket security alarm that some dealers install but if you donā€™t buy it it isnā€™t enabled but is still left on the vehicle. Saw the same on the Ranger 5G forums. Iā€™ll try to find a linkā€¦
  3. Wrench light appeared in sport mode, cruise control on..

While Iā€™m pretty sure itā€™s not the cause and will be curious what the service comes back with, I wouldnā€™t be one to use cruise control while the transmission is in sport mode. That sort of defeats the purpose of that mode doesnā€™t it?
  4. SERIOUSLY???? 851 miles and this??

Thatā€™s a thing now a days? You can just turn off the vehicle without putting it in park first? (I donā€™t have a BS, yet, so Iā€™m curious on this) Maybe thatā€™s whatā€™s caused this since it did throw transmission errors? ā€¦ just spit-balling hereā€¦
  5. On this episode of, "Is this noise normal?"...

Definitely not flagged as a special order, but as long as itā€™s rigged up as how you wanted then should be no issue?
  6. Condensation in center brake light?

Condensation is normal (kinda expected in the right conditions), but it should dissipate after a period of time as indicated in the manual. If you are driving around and it continues to stay that could be a sign of the venting not working as designed. A friend of mineā€™s Mazda 3 has a front...
  7. Auto Start/Stop Disabled?

The grey/white ā€œAā€ with a slash through it means the function (ā€œfeatureā€) is enabled, but hadnā€™t met all the conditions to actually shut the motor off. There are many factors that determine that, but if theyā€™re met then it will go green and shut off. Iā€™m sure we all know our ā€œlightsā€ that can...
  8. Any Complaints so far?

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by ā€œthey couldnā€™t balance the tiresā€? It just kind of sounds odd that theyā€™d be so fast to give you new tires?
  9. Unofficial MPG thread for the 1.5L

Thatā€™s great MPGā€™s! Was that mostly ā€œlevelā€ driving I would think, or did that include some elevation changes? As an aside, about half of the four hour trip I take when I go ā€œup northā€ is level and the other half goes up and down. Itā€™s that up of the upā€™n down that can make a dent into the...
  10. Pre Collision system is not working

How do you know itā€™s not working as designed? You didnā€™t say how you found this out?
  11. Mileage upon delivery

Nice! Dealer did ceramic on the Ranger I got 2 years ago. Still holding up decently, but I have been keeping up with it too so that helps. yeah, who knows for the delivery mileage. Should be all good Iā€™d think...
  12. Mileage upon delivery

Maybe they did a very thorough PDI on it ? Did it need to go somewhere else first for an accessory or maybe rust-proofing? just spit-balling here...
  13. Blinker Failure

Any luck today? I hope so as itā€™s these things that can drive us crazy!
  14. Synthentic Blend to Full Synthetic?

Iā€™ve been good with my various 4 Fords since 2005 (ā€˜05 Freestar van, ā€˜07 Fusion, ā€˜17 Escape and ā€˜19 Ranger) bringing to my dealer(s) for their bi-annual check-ups. Iā€™m a firm believer of 6 months and/or 5,000 miles (I do at 8k in kilometres). The timing with both vehicles (17 and 19) works out...
  15. Battery Charging problem 2,293

Howā€™d it go with this? All is well I hope?
  16. Heyo - any fellow Canadians here?

Show us the pics!!! ? Just browsing around but also wanted to check in from Mississauga, Ontario. Currently happy with our ā€˜17 Escape and ā€˜19 Ranger, but Iā€™ll keep watching the progression of these as they check all the right buttons. By the time I might be ready to get rid of the Escape maybe...
  17. Bronco Sport: The Good, The Bad & Ugly

That canā€™t be good for a wiper motor can it? Donā€™t the wipers try to ā€œgo homeā€ (into starting position) when the vehicle is started? Wouldnā€™t that put stress/strain on the motor if the wipers couldnā€™t come back down? When I was checking out some BSā€™s on a local dealerā€™s lot I actually noticed...
