I was just wondering the other day what O'Neil rally school would use now that Fiesta is not available in US. So many modern cars have these trick electronics that you have to know how to get around.
And, yes, sport mode would be most appropriate for that dry stage. That would remove the throttle lag.

Or sand mode. I noticed they changed the definition. It used to be pretty vague.

Interesting… @Nam3 that link shows as the 2021BroncoSportOwnersManual (Drive Modes - Sand page) however my 2022 Owners Manual (HTML) and my 2022 Owners Manual (PDF) both are different for that Sand Mode page and both have less info than the 2021 page.

It makes me wonder if they're just going into more detail, or if they updated the mode in anyway.

The 2022 PDF and HTML are similar to what you showed just missing a few words that’s in the 2021 page
