First, the main engine bay battery is a little difficult to replace as the entire air box must be removed, careful to first use a knife to remove the plastic caps first on the nuts or you will damage them. I learned the hard way, can't find a replacement for the one I damaged. In my opinion Wal-Mart (Ever-Start) and Interstate Batteries are the best.

Second, key fob, it started acting up, so I ordered the CR2450 3V coin cell on Amazon cheaper than going to the store and got the name brand I wanted.
Pic attached, to remove;

start at the end where the key is attached, I used my fingernail and found the sweet spot the removed the cover with a harp tooth pic.

When the time comes, I plan on going the lithium ion route. Although not inexpensive, they weigh less, have 2-3x the power and last up to 10 years

If you're referring to the fob battery I did go with the lithium battery.

Can the BMS be setup for lithium ion batteries? They have different charging requirements. Cheers!

My understanding is that Lithium batteries can't be charged when it is below freezing. That seems like a big problem to me. They do make heated batteries, but that seems problematc on a vehicle that has trouble keeping a regular battery charged. One big advantage of lithium is that they can be charged much faster, so that might work well once heated up. Seems like on a short trip, it might not have time to heat up enough to charge the battery.

My 3 year and 3 month main battery is going. I have a jump box that has helped a couple times. AutoZone tested and confirmed it’s not holding a charge. I did watch those replacement videos. I priced out extension for rear bracket bolt and magnetic tool and may do it myself. Shopping for battery now. Was recommended Battery Warehouse as it’s cheaper and not a 2 year only
