Hi All,
this is my second Bronco (guess why?) ... I'm a happy camper!!
However, here is my question in hopes someone can enlighten me.
I remember with mt first one (2021) I press the driver side heater button (big Knob/wheel) ... both sides, driver and passenger side, came on, same temperature.
Now, doing the same, only my side/driver side comes on and passenger side remains off / has to be activated separately.

Is this a new feature and I have to live with it ... or is there a way to change this? Couldn't find any settings for that.

Thanks

I have a 22 and the left knob is the on/off button for the system itself. When it turns on the passenger side is not activated because it's synced together. If you then change the temperature for the passenger side it will then turn the dual zone feature on.

From page 126 from the 2024 owners manual:
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

Turn the control on the left-hand side of the climate control to set the left-hand temperature.
Note: This control also sets the right-hand
side temperature when you switch off dual zone mode.

Turn the control on the right-hand side of the climate control to set the right-hand temperature.

Thanks for the replies.
DWG: so there is a setting where you activate/disactivate "Dual Zone Mode" ?

Just to mention: my partner has a Bronco as well but lower model (not Outer Banks / less extras / packages) ... her heating set up is completely different than on an Outer Banks ... just to avoid confusion

Thanks

Well, haven't come to any results yet.
Just to clarify:
I would assume that one wants to have heat out of ALL vents every time the heater is activated (for an overall, even temperature throughout the car). The dual function is nice but only IF there is a passenger in the first place and IF he/she wants a different setting. Most of the time this is not the case.
My 2021 Outer Banks had a dual heat function too but it wasn't activated as default / every time you hit the heater button. Heater/climate control always came on for the whole car.
Now, with the 2024, I have to hit two buttons (left/right) every time to get heat on both sides of the car, which is what you would expect from a normal car heater.
(I'm not talking about defrost/foot area/upper area choices)

Hopefully I could explain myself better than at the initial post.
I was hoping I overlooked a way of changing this but also found out that there is NO general heater settings at all. (under Settings / Vehicle)
If that's how it is for the latest models I completely accept it.
Just bothers me.

Thanks
