Body side molding anyone?

Well, crap. Shoulda read this tread before dropping on my BS for the side molding. The pictures show what I picked up from dealer. I brought it to the attention of the Signature shop and they agreed it looked tacky (my word) Janky (their word). Waiting to hear back from them on what they are going to do to fix the problem. I maybe could have lived with it if the side molding didn't overlap the badge.

Yup. My crap dealer put the side moldings right over the badge also...Schuck job.....

Curious if anyone has installed the body side molding by AirDesign from the Accessories page. I like the idea of door ding protection, but wonder how far they stick out. Looks like it may not be past the fender flares. Before I'd shell out $329 for these, thought I'd ask.

UPDATE Sept 17: dealer got the new badges and installed them in a better looking spot. I'm now happy.

How do you like the hood deflector. Does that one work?

So far it seems to be doing the trick. I like how it fits fairly flush with the hood

Is this still an issue on all or is it hit or miss? I dont want to remove the Badlands emblem for the side moldings.

I like it as it is smaller. my opinion is that the factory molding is a little big. tho I agree it needs to be "thick" enough so it does function as door ding protection.

If you input your vehicle, you’ll find they are not compatible with the Sport. I was suspicious when the engine size didn’t match.

I just did that. It has compatibility with the BS.

I had followed the other link. I’m debating black or color match, but will probably go black.

I think it’s hit or miss. I bought some but haven’t had the chance to install them but lining them up by eye, it looks to clear by 1/2 inch or so.
