Body dimples @ B and C pillars

Does anyone else have dimples on the sheet metal right where the B and C pillars come down and rest?

At this point, I think almost all do.

So it's a standard defect in the forming of the panel or something that happens during the attachment process that is unavoidable with the current design?

Couldn't tell you. It just doesn't bother me enough to look into it. I only see it in a very particular lighting so it doesn't bother me. I just wanted you to know you're not alone haha.

Yep, noticed it the other day when the light hit it just right. I’ve had my BL for @ 1 1/2 years, first time I’ve noticed it. Finished my coffee and went for a drive.

Those are the least of my imperfections. Of course… the bushes, trees and rocks made most of mine

Mine has them right under the side windows. This will be one of those things in the far future when people are restoring these cars - make sure you don't grind down the dimples as they had them when they were new...
