Looking for a bit more ground clearance on my Big Bend. What has worked well for those of you who did this for occasional off road fun? 1.5” seems to be the most common.

It seems that the 2 primary options are the HRG spacer lift or the H&R springs. If you’ve got a few thousand dollars burning a hole in your pocket, then the Flat Out Suspension replacement coil over kit is also a good option.

I live in the middle of the desert and a 1.5 lift did wonders for me. It's a simple lift and looks good. Add tires to which ever kit you go with. Mine drives fine on highways. I have about 10k miles on a HRG kit with no issues.

I have 1.5” Ready Lift SST kit. It has mixed reviews here but I’ve had no issues with it and love it. I believe the only thing more than 1.5” is the 2” lift from FordRangerLifts but haven’t seen many reviews on it though.

I'm looking to be purchasing the Flatout Suspension GR Lite kit here in the next couple of months. loaded up in the shopping cart after shipping its $1,881. It can go from 1.5 to 3in lift, adjustable, you can also customize the rear spring rate to your liking.

I’d say minor creaking from rear in certain instances. I’ve been told it’s normal with spacer lifts. I only had it 6 days before I lifted so not much drive time to really compare comfort/handling/etc but I’m up to 20k miles and still love it

I have H&R Springs on my BB. With bigger tires I was able to get over 1.5" lift. Rides as smooth as it did with the factory springs. I was weary of spacers for the noise and rigid ride.
