probably covered here but the T/A KO2 is mainly for off-road or snow? would it be a good choice for a DD around town/country or wasting my $$ ??
im not a tire guy just wanted a bigger diameter for the clearance...

For just around town/dirt road, the KO2's are heavy and stiff. I would recommend you get something like Toyo/Falken/Cooper that is a little more road/highway rated than trail rated. You can still get them in the 245/65/17 size to get the clearance without getting the harsher ride and noise.

I agree with Meanderthal, the KO2 tires weigh 45lbs each in 245/65/17. That isn't appealing to me at all, I went with Falekn A/T Trail that are 36lbs each. That means the KO2 is 20% heavier. Not to mention the ride quality around town or fire roads compared to a city leaning all terrain. I guess if you spend more time in the dirt than the street it would make sense.
