It's driving me crazy if you don't have the stereo Volume at 13-15? I originally thought it was the plastic vents up close to the windshield but it's not and some mentioned the Plastic around the Stereo Screen and it's not that either. It also seems worse when it's Hotter outside like something is expanding.

Have someone else drive your car over the rough roads while you investigate. Sound bounces around, especially near glass, so touch everything made of plastic--dash pieces, A-pillar parts, SYNC screen, housing around windshield sensors, instrument panel bezels, door panels...everything.

I once thought I had a rattle in my dash, but it turned out to be the passenger side seat belt buckle. The noise stopped once I tucked it back between the seat and the console.

In addition, don't discount rattle noises coming from outside the cabin. Suspension rattles can be especially annoying. Here's a good technique for finding them:

Good morning. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this rattle concern on my end?

Thanks for the information i don't think it's the passenger seat belt since my buddy was with me on Monday in the passenger seat with his seat belt buckled. And the rattling noise was still there.

If i push down on the dash above the Vent and to the left of Stereo Screen it goes away? Does no one else have these noises some days they're really bad? Kind of like a rattle squeak noise?

I would suggest stopping into the dealer and asking to drive with a Forman before having it actually looked at by a technician. From my experience this has helped with the "Could not duplicate" issue. Also try and video the rattle on your phone in advance to play for the dealer so they know what you are trying to describe. If you have not yet taken the BS to the dealer for the rattle I wouldn't wait too long as from your posts I get the impression that the rattle is worse in the hot weather. As the temperatures cool down the rattle might go away and then you would have to wait until next year to deal with it.

We are currently in the middle of a 4k mile road trip and ours is doing the same thing. We have <7k miles. Will probably stuff a small piece of black foam into the area when we get home next week.

Thanks good point about the cooler temperatures i'm coming up on 4,000 miles i'll take it in at 5,000 miles for an oil change. I'll have them look at it then hopefully the noise will still be there and they can figure it out.

I have alot of rattles all over my bronco sport. Definitely the same dash rattles as you. I tried everything, I have so many felt strips placed everywhere in between panels, trying to fix issue. It's worse in the winter, but Definitely still there in warmer weather. I officially gave up and like you just turn radio up, to drown out rattles. I just accept the fact that where I live in Pennsylvania the roads are just to bad. It doesn't do it on brand new paved roads. But if your state does tar and chip, it seams to make it rattle more. I know I should take it in, but the dealership taking everything apart is just going to make more rattles. Plus the road is perfect by dealership, so they won't find were noise is coming from. The same reason I didn't realize it did it, until I got on roads were I live.. I've been leasing ford's since 2006, and the bronco sport, is the only one that the interior sounded like a 20 year old car. I'm counting the days till lease is over. It's a shame, because I love the looks and way it drives. Just sounds like it's 20 years old.

If you have tar and chipped roads in your state, your probably going to have to get used to rattles in dash. I found no solution, my state just has bad roads. Winter it's worse, summer gets a little better. Smooth highways, barely does it, but I'm rarely on them. I'm on nothing but poorly maintained back roads. I just learned to live with it. Turn that music up.

I like how it drives but since last Friday the rattles are driving me crazy now it sounds like the plastic in front of the stereo screen and the plastic louvers for the defroster by the Windshield and possibly something else is rattling. If you figured yours out let me know, Thanks

Did you ever solve your rattle problem? I don't want to take it in unless i know what the problem is, Thanks

We have not done anything about the rattle and at 15k miles it is getting worse. If it ever warms up I will try the black foam weatherstrip and push into the gaps. I will post when I accomplish that task.
