Can't wait to see the 2-Door...This looks better than the other versions.

What looks like the top is probably the camo being laid flat across the roof rack, so it looks to be sitting a couple inches higher than it really is.

when you really look at it, that thing looks like it is exactly like that leak from a couple months ago, with maybe some squared pieces being added to the bumpers and back of the roof to confuse lines a bit.

Finally, we see this little guy. This has been a bit of a mystery to me when it comes to the Bronco timeline as this Lil Bronco is apparently slated to release before the standard Bronco... We've at least been seeing Bronco mules for awhile but nothing, until now (apparently), on the small Bronco.

We still have little info but good to see they're finally catching spy shots.

Many of the articles suggest the baby is aimed at the Renegade, but it would seem to me that the Cherokee and Compass are the real targets.

I agree, I think the escape size and functionality is much more aligned with the Cherokee and I would expect the baby bronco to have better offroad chops than the renegade, something again more like the Cherokee. (though that's not saying much)

Thing is there is nothing here not already in the market. It looks like my wife's Renegade. So if you are a Ford guy you would get this instead of one of the other cute-utes? I guess that is the plan evident here?

I assume the actual Bronco is the family trend setter/leader for the new family of vehicles and Ford perhaps hopes that some style points will rub off on this Baby Bronco. If this is it, then Ford must be trying to unseat Toyota as the leading manufacturer of boring re-cycled vehicles.

Can they get that rear bumper any closer to the ground I wonder?

Yes, you are right there, because it looks a lot like the old Ford Escape, the original one. So perhaps they are just using a grafted on Escape body for drivetrain testing. Hopefully that is not the baby Bronco body work under that cladding.

I agree the roof is camouflaged making it look taller
