A 245/65 rubbed? I’ve seen people with 245/70s that only rub slightly and that tire is 1” bigger than the 65
Yeah, I ended up going 245/70 and they rubbed a bit on the pinch weld at a certain angle. Grinded down the pinch weld a bit, no biggie.

Ok good. I want to right away put on 245/70s the week I get mine but it’s too cold out now to do the pinch. I’ll just be careful for a couple weeks until the weather breaks I just love this look!

My new Yokohama Geolandar
GO15’s in 235 65 17 at my Ford Dealer was $800 out the door.
Priced them at two tire places one for $700 the other for $675.
BUT !
I got $301 in points from Ford. That took two months to come to me. I just ordered from Ford parts the neoprene front seat covers with the Molle strap system on both seat backs at the Ford parts counter for $289
So my seat cover out of pocket will be less than $20 so,,,
My tires were $500 or $800 with free seat covers:,P
I’m very happy.

I thought the 245's would be wider than that, compared to the 235's..that seems like it would be hardly noticeable.
They, them often measure at the widest point say an inch down the sidewall but still on a tread block where rubber meets the road to get a wider number…
My 235 Yoko’s are .5 inch wider than my 225s where rubber meets the road. And .5 taller.

Don't be fooled, 245/70/17 tires are 1 inch taller than 245/65/17 tires and will rub big time without a lift and trimming.
Running 70 series tires on the BS without a lift makes them look to big for the vehicle, also the performance hit is huge especially if you have a 1.5 BS model.

🤞 With my 1.5 lift hopefully, 245/70/17s ko2s will fit my big bend.

I just bought my 2021 a few weeks ago. Was looking for tires because I feel the stock are just too small. I love the ones you got. Are you still happy with them.

Just picked up my 22 Badlands this weekend. Good to know this is a simple option when the time comes.
