Anyone paint Aeroskin II ?

Just wondering if anyone has had this painted, instead of leaving it plain black, to match the vehicle. If I missed searching earlier threads I apologize in advance. We have a new Atlas Blue “B3” and a new Absolute Black “G1”. I can see the black one staying stock black, but thought the protector might look good painted on the blue one.

I've not seen one painted, but could be a nice touch.

Surface prep would be the key. Not sure how I would approach the textured surface to ensure it is prepped correctly. Not like a smooth acrylic one that can be sanded or roughed up a bit to make a better surface for painting.

Probably easy to do. As plastic, will want an automotive paint with a flex additive. I would try a rattle can from paintscratch.com.

I just looked. Paintscratch.com has a non-metal paint kit with all you need for $100.
