Yes, I had heard about that some time ago. They had been doing business with them for years and the company claims they didn't know why Ford quit on them! Several other companies followed suit that also used that company right after Ford pulled the plug. They must have found something about them. Oh, and the name of the company was Jack Cooper.

Update (of sorts), my dealer reached out to me and said they had gotten my build priority moved up to a 3. Customer orders run from 10 to 19, store orders are 20-89, so this means a Regional Manager got involved and bumped me up big time.

My luck is that I’ll re-enter the queue and start over regardless.

Angela, delivery is scheduled 03/21-03/27. I work Monday Tuesday and Wednesday so I’m planning to pick up Thursday. It will be tough to wait. My last day of work is Wednesday so it’s kind of like a “final” retirement treat to myself.

That's awesome, congratulations on your retirement!! I retired several years ago and my Bronco Sport is my "welcome to Medicare " stage in my life! I'll be turning 65 the end of this year and just now starting to do research and making appointments to talk to people to see what I'll be wanting to sign up for later this year!

In my case, original Medicare is the absolute best choice. Yeah, it's $185/mo. each for me & the wife (comes out of SS directly), but everything's "in network", no referrals required, and I haven't had a copay or medical bill for anything in nearly four years now. And as a military retiree, Tricare for Life picks up any excess and serves as my Part D (prescription plan). And boy howdy, have we racked up some pretty heavy usage of it! Literally my only complaint is there's no gym membership included, but then Eos is $10/mo. for a single location.

As always, do your homework. Luckily, you can change plans each November if you feel you've made a bad choice initially.

Congratulations on your retirement, and the wonderful gift you’re giving yourself. I retired from Central Texas College in 2012 to care for my disabled son, sad to say he passed away in 2023. So excuse my somewhat crazy replies. I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety, depression and PTSD. ive started going back to college to help. Some days I’m good other days I’m not. So the BS is something me and my son would have fun in. So for maintaining my grades my husband said get it. Forever 40. Sorry some days I have to vent.

I'm so sorry, I lost my twin sister last year and that was/is tough. She didn't make it to 62. It was fast and I believe some of it was her lifestyle choices. Enjoy your BS. I can't wait to go on a road trip.

So sorry to hear that. I also lost my brother the same year. I hoping he shows up before Easter. I’m going to visit my sister and brother in Abilene TX, and want to break him in before it gets to hot.
