Any problem with just rolling with fast flash blinkers because of LED Brake lights? Sylvania 3157R ZEVO

Daughter does not mind the fast flash....was going to investigate some resistors.....but she had to head back to college...

Positive points: Brake lights turn on faster than incandescent = safer

Negative points: She will not know when a turn signal goes out, or a brake light....but they are LED with lifetime warranty, so we should be OK!

I could add the Sylvania resistor thing, but 6 ohm seems like overkill - did anyone throw a variable power resistor to figure out where the Bronco sport switches between "I got an old school light there" and "that old school light done blown a filament"?

Either way I hate cutting into a factory wire to add a resistor...

(PS: I like sticking with high volume vendors like Sylvania etc..I know there are other smaller vendors with LED lights that work by drawing more current - but we should be able to run an efficient lamp here! I'm sure the Mach-E does not have filaments anywhere)

Nothing wrong with it you just look like a tool with a broken car.

If you do resistors you'll need 4 maybe? There's a shared ground on the tails with the signal lamp and brake lamp.

Or get forscan and disable lamp out warning

Do our BS's use a flasher? if so, buy one for use with LED bulbs.

The lights don’t actually flash fast, only the interior blinking & blinking sound….

I dont think so - all computer - otherwise I think the exterior lights would also flash fast if both were tied to a flasher module…

This feature serves as a warning that you have an exterior lamp issue. Without it, your first warning might be a traffic citation from your friendly local law enforcement.

Check on the SuperbriteLED website. There website has a feature allowing you to enter year, make, and model and it will display the LEDs that will work on your vehicle. They also list the resisters that will work.

Separate flasher for turn signals...at least those that used to use them.
