I know, I know.. comparing Apples and Oranges here... but just curious what these 2 look like side by side... I came across this neat old Bronco II on eBay... Kind of cool... makes me want to bid and spend money I don't have on something I just don't need, lol.

Sure I’ve posted mine before, but I had the BII’s descendant. Loved it. Until the tranny went out at the start of the pandemic & was deemed uneconomic to repair. I still should’ve fixed it.

Not sure you want a 2wd Bronco II like that one is, or why they even made them...

I purchased a 1984 Bronco II when I lived in Colorado, brand new...5 speed stick. I had it for 12 years with 120,000 miles on it. Several trips cross country, many trips to the mountains. If It wasn't so hard to put child seats in the back, I would have kept it longer.
I loved that truck.
It looked just like this one...

I really like my Bronco Sport, but the 2dr Bronco reminds me a lot of my old Bronco II.

My parents bought a brand new, very early 1984 XLT in 1983. I don't remember the details but there was an issue from the beginning with it being difficult to start—this was before they had electronic fuel injection, mind you—and Ford was never able to correct it. The paint started peeling after three or four years, and they had to have it repainted. They replaced it in 1990 with a Nissan Pathfinder.

My grandfather owned two, an early '84 and a really nice '88 model, loaded up Eddie Bower. By that time, it seemed like Ford had worked out all the kinks and it was a great little truck.
