Hopefully its something small. I had the now defunct 4 cyl 1.5L in my Fusion and hope they didn't make the same mistakes on this one. I had to have 2 intercoolers replaced because they were leaking antifreeze. I was loosing antifreeze and couldn't figure out where as it wasn't in the oil, not dripping on the ground, but i was loosing it. Both times it was a hole in the intercooler!

Water pump more than likely.

I've lost water pumps on cars before, they typically leak and make noise. Not seeing or hearing anything. I went to a Ford Dealer and bought the right coolant and added some to the reservoir myself. I don't think the dealer actually added anything when I asked them to months ago. Could have come from the factory with a dry reservoir, can't really say the reservoir had anything in it since I bought the Bronco, just don't recall. At least I have a benchmark now and can keep an eye on it.

Ok follow up,
At my 25,000 mile service I told my dealer I added a quart of coolant 2,000 miles ago and now it needs another quart.
I also told them of two other 1.5L Dragons with water pump leaks found in our forum so far.
,,,,,
They said yep, us guys were right.
They will call me when my water pump comes in.
I go off factory warranty in 11,000 miles or about 13 months which ever hits first…
I’ll keep watching my antifreeze level…

I know the Ford coolant issue is well documented. Just wanted to mention something I noticed on my '14 Escape. The coolant reservoir cap needs to be fully tightened to a slight click. You can feel it.

Thought I had the dreaded block issue. Hadn't fully tightened the cap. Noticed it when I added coolant. No loss since.

I cannot get mine to click, it tightens up really tight and suddenly stops.
FWIW a new water pump was installed at 26,000 miles. No more leak.
Ford did not get a click either.
They told me to tighten till it stops abruptly.
This does not do much for my confidence in this vehicle.
This reinforces my plan to trade in before 80,000 miles.
A water pump failure before 150,000 miles is not cool.
