Hey everyone! I just got my 2022 BB a few days ago. I’ve been wanting to do a few customizations but am terrified of voiding any warranties For the car. First off, I wanted to use my ford points to buy a push bar to put on the front end. Any thoughts?

I would think if you don’t modify the drivetrain you should be fine.

Is it possible to void the bumper-to-bumper and powertrain warranties independently?

If you read the fine print in the warranty, pretty much anything could be used to void the warranty. However, unless it is blatant, they normally don’t enact those exceptions. As stated earlier, the biggest issues are for driveline or engine failures when you have made modifications to either of those.

You only void the warranty on parts you replace, or parts that might be affected by things you add on. For example, Ford will not make repairs under your warranty if the push bar you add causes damage to the front facia or you damage the paint during installation. All other portions of your New Vehicle Limited Warranty remain in effect.

Unless you tune and blow it up with aftermarket crap you’ll be fine
Or modify the pinch welds to gain a half inch of ground clearance and the unibody fails!

Look up Magnuson-Moss Act. The manufacture can only deny a warranty claim if they can successfully prove any changes to the vehicle specifically caused an issue. Happy safe modding!

I've not seen any push bars on the Ford accessory site. Is there such a thing?

The bigger issue is probably more similar to the rebates and price protection. It’s having to fight with the dealer for what has already been established.
