I have a 23 BSBL, bought new. Radio had been working great until 2 days ago. Have not made any mods on anything, but out of the blue, several radio stations just went weak signal or no signal coming from my radio. I checked my other vehicles and the reception is strong coming from the stations I normally tune in using my Bronco Sport, so its not the radio station output. I checked my antenna and appears in tac. Anyone else have this issue and found the resolve or have any ideas to check? Thanks.

Am assuming you are referring to FM radio stations and not AM or Sirius stations… and assuming there was no damage to the shark fin antenna on top the vehicle close to the rear hatch, you may have a hardware issue (given the sudden change in working to non-working status 2 days ago). Perhaps with the antenna itself, the APIM (Module) located behind the 8” Display, the antenna wire, etc.

Some Bronco Sports shark fin antenna were damaged by drive thru car washes (excessive water, physical damage from roller brushes), or by driving into their too low garage doors.

Dude, No AM or FM stations worked. (don't have Sirius) However, this morning I went out to drive a few places and when I started the vehicle the radio reception was great again. Then after it was working most of the day, I was driving to take the wife to the doctor and the dang thing went out again. we stopped for dinner in town and when we started the vehicle again it worked.
Thanks for the feedback.

Does sound like an intermittent hardware issue but as suggested earlier please check the Sync 3.4 version # as you might still be on the 22251 version which has known issues
