You say that now, people have been waiting at least 40 years for that.Well, maybe my Bronco’s will be the last vehicles I buy then. I have no plans on letting someone else drive for me. Especially a computer.

Just like Johnny Cash. One piece at a timeStrip your 21 of all the ‘rare’ parts before you trade it in. Or better yet when it’s time to sign that dotted line make the dealer move the 2021 exotic bits to your 2022.
Just tell them your simply trying to get one complete car out of the 21 and the 22.
My badlands was built in the very first week of production for the 22 model year. It does not have an engine cover. I could be wrong, but I doubt any of the 22s have them. But I bet you're missing the engine cover. I think the date for this thread is just the official date of the TSB. People have already talked about the '22 2.0 not having covers.
I just want a part number for the 2.0 cover and I'll order one.I have two (2) engine covers for the 2.0L Badlands Sport that I'd be willing to sell/trade. I'll gladly trade them straight across for an F-150 Lightning Lariat w/ ER battery and max tow package. Haters need not respond, I know what I've got here.
I can't guarantee it's a good number, but I cheekily posted the underside of mine in another thread. It happens to have the FoMoCo number molded into it. Maybe their parts dept can work with that?I just want a part number for the 2.0 cover and I'll order one.
No longer available….I just want a part number for the 2.0 cover and I'll order one.
Meaningless to you perhaps, but not to others...Before these engine cover threads started, you couldn't have ever convinced me that such a meaningless item is important to so many.
I was convinced when the exact same forum discussions occurred for the 2012 Focus. Ours was a late 2012 build and didn't come with one. Before these engine cover threads started, you couldn't have ever convinced me that such a meaningless item is important to so many.

That’s a missing item that I wouldn’t mind if mine came without. I absolutely hate startle-start.I don't know if Ford is shipping any BS's without auto stop, but they are some vehicles to save the chip for use elsewhere. MY son-in-law ordered an Explorer Timberline and will pick it up tomorrow. On the sticker it shows auto stop deleted with a credit of $50. Most people hate it anyway.
I'll remove mine from my 2021 BL and tell everyone I own a 2022.It gives you the peace of mind that your BS is everything that it can be. It will help you sleep better at night. It will help you see Ford and your Ford dealer in a better light. Your friends and neighbors will hold you in higher esteem than the lowly non-engine cover peasants. It just makes your life better overall.
To some, it's just an engine cover. To others, it's a way of life.
Better yet sell it and then tell people it’s a 22. I bet someone would be willing to buy it for a few hundredI'll remove mine from my 2021 BL and tell everyone I own a 2022.
