I forgot to post. I have the air pressure gauge installed for the air suspension. It has five sensors so you can have one for the tank and one for each air spring. I couldn't find a good spot to mount it where I can easily see it but it would be kind of out of the way so I just put it right next to my boost gauge. It kind of works though.

I just got off the phone with Tom at switch suspension and he's sending me the invoice to order the struts plus the. Airline. I guess it's really important to get. Airline and not some cheap crap and then the fittings for my valve block and I guess the fittings come with the kit for the ones that go to the actual struts and bags and he said it's probably three to four weeks to build it and he's been talking with the president at universal Air and they're going to try to get it set up. So it'll work with mine at stock height and instead of being slammed to the ground and it's going to have the adjustable dampers to which is cool. It'll be like my old rancho shocks I had on my old bronco where you can make it softer or stiffer and so I think that'll help. I can set it lower when I'm off road to get a little more articulation.

But it was I think about 2,850 in total including the four fittings and line which I think was like 60 bucks which is pretty much exactly what I was expecting. And then with the I think it was just over 900 I spent on the other stuff getting out of there at about 38 00 which is right about what I expected. It's definitely a lot of money but I think it'll be worth it and I will definitely let you know and try to do some good videos and pictures and if anyone else wants to try and do it, feel free to send me any questions and I can try to take some videos and pictures on how I set mine up for any insult questions because I know I'm terrible at explaining stuff and taking pictures.

I know I haven't posted in a while. It's cuz I was waiting on the air springs to come in and I just got notified that they're leaving the place. So hopefully I will have them sometime next week and then I'll try to do a video installing one of them in the front and one in the rear and then a video of them working. But I have a lot of stuff going on so it might be a couple weeks before I get those on here but I'm hoping to have it all done and shown by the end of October

If I may ask, what is this gaining you? More clearance? Lowering the height? Better handling?

Nice work and great documentation along the install.

It's mostly for my dog he's getting older and starting to struggle to get in and especially the landing jumping out on his front right leg he.
Also, he hates ramps and steps and also I just always wanted to do it and I love how the car handles stock so I wanted to keep how it drives normally but I also did want a little extra clearance so this does all of that, and for a whole boatload of money.

Also if anyone wants to buy my old shocks and springs when I'm done I'll sell them for $200. I would think it would be a nice upgrade on a non-badlands and better than spacers but I don't know.

Your a great pet owner to help out an aging dog. Kudos to you.

So here's an actual picture of the springs, but it's the same as what they had on the website. I didn't have time last night to do anything yet. I was too tired but I'm going to try and get started on it tonight after work. Hopefully have everything done and figured out through the weekend. They did pack it really good too. I was really happy about that because I would have been really pissed if they've gotten messed up because of bad packing and some careless UPS guy

I ran into an issue with the rear air spring mounts. The hole in the air spring mounting bracket is a little small, about half a millimeter, to slide over the lower coil spring rubber locator, so we're just waiting on their reply on what we're going to do. Also, I need to replace the sway bar end links on the front which uses an 18 mm socket which is not in most standard socket kits and of course a t40 torx. So again if you're going to be working on Fords nowadays just buy a goddamn torx kit cuz you're going to need all kinds of weird ass torx sizes. Anyways the bolt holding the sway bar end link to the strut wasn't too bad to get off, but the bolt holding it to the actual sway bar is in a Terrible spot and I might end up just having to cut it off but I'm trying to avoid that.

Also, I could not get the fittings to seal in the tank with just regular thread tape so I had to go to the goop. I'm using permatex high temp thread ceiling and that seems to be doing the job. But again, if anyone does this don't buy that vixen amazon tank that I bought (which really sucks cuz it's the perfect size and has a lot of different fittings you can use on it) and I would suggest getting a good aluminum one from like AccuAir or universal airnor any good brand they're usually only a couple hundred bucks and you don't have to worry about rust. Eventually I will definitely be replacing this tank and then down the line. I'll probably get an automatic controller instead of a manual switch like I have now.

But here's a picture with the front air strut on the driver side front. It went right in. I just used the old strut to get the same length and I'm going to start from there once I get everything on here and working.

Wow, you actually did it.
Now let's see a pic of the BS riding low like the Mavericks I've seen.

No it's going in at stock height not gonna slam it down to the ground. It'll drop but only a few inches, same for going up. And actually it's not done they machined a hole about a half millimeter too small. So I'm waiting to hear how they're going to fix it because you really need a mill or a lathe or something to do it right? I can't just dremel it out or would have already just done it myself. But I will definitely put up some pics and videos when it's done.

Could you not just dremel the hole just a little bigger .5 mm is not much could even be the powdercoating is a little thick. Could you post a pic of the offending part.
