I’m trying to find an aftermarket bypass valve, not a blow off valve, but a bypass. The ecoboost system uses the bypass to keep pressure in the system so we don’t have turbo lag. A good tuner can tap the extra boost there at the delta blade to increase boost pressures without increasing wastegate usage. So I have found it for the 2.0 but not the 1.5

already did, running a custom tune and converted to flex fuel, maxing out around 25-26 psi, coping tunes for the fiesta st from overseas, where they have tuned our little guy to close to 275hp. I'm around 230hp 312 torque if the math adds up, still need to find a dyno that will let the sport on close to where I live. most will not do it because it's all-wheel drive, so i was told i would need to find a dyno that will support that.

It doesn't work like that. What's happening is on our turbo, the bypass valve is integral to the compressor housing. And when you let off on the throttle and the throttle blade closes, the computer opens the bypass valve to relieve pressure. So that it doesn't try to make boost. While the throttle blades closed, which would then force the boost back on the turbo and hurt your bearings. There is no way to then reuse that air to reintroduce it in the turbo to make more boost. I mean, it is being recycled back into the turbo because it dumps back into the intake pipe after your airbox, which I personally do not like because you're just going to heat up the air.If it recycles too often although that really isn't going to happen but I do like the whoosh sound.

Also, on these newer ecoboost engines the computer controls the levels of boost now so you can't do like you used to be able to do where you would tighten down the screws on spring for the bypass valve actuator to squeeze the spring a little more and get an extra psi or two or put a whole new diaphragm and stiffer spring in it anymore. all you need is a tune to increase it which you said you've already done

But also that turbo is already pretty much tapped out. So I don't know if I would even try increasing boost on a stock one. The the turbo was so small stock and the turbine housing and the ar size is so small. You're going to get so much back pressure. You're probably just going to make heat and not even really make that much more power. If any. Also, I'd be careful making too much more power. On these with the transmission we have.I am not confident in it at all.

I would just buy the spacer that everyone buys. Also, buy the cheap one on amazon. It's a hunk of metal. There's no reason to pay two hundred dollars for 1 from boomba or whatever. It's not different.

a little hint I buy the one on ebay made for the full size bronco. In the 23, and it also fits ours. And you can get it for like twenty bucks.I've had it on my twenty three, and I had it on my twenty two.For years never had an issue.I put one on my buddies twenty three. He's had it there for 6 months. No, issues.I also had one on my full size bronco. No, issues and I bought them all in the same place.Exact same vendor.

But get the spacer that vents to atmosphere. If you want the cool whoosh sound, but otherwise, you're already bypassing it back into the intake tracts. And that's all it does. There's nothing else you can do.It's not going to make any more power. No, matter where you route it.

Sorry I don't get on here, hardly ever anymore but this is what I bought the last time.I think the last two times it's actually off of a mustang.Ecoboost, it says, but it still worked sorry the one that I got before was off of a full size bronco. For my twenty three full size and my twenty two badlands, baby bronco. Now if you're putting it on the three cylinder, I don't know if that'll work, I had the two liter engine. So you might need a double check that.

Yeah Ksnau is right about the bypass being integrated into the compressor housing on these newer ecoboosts, but I'm not sure if that spacer will work on the 1.5L since it's a different setup than the 2.0L.
