Sorry I don’t know. I don’t pay that much attention to that. The money is so Negligible for the year I can’t imagine anyone trying to figure that out
Understandable. Only asking as I’ve had some issues with my TPMS I think I’m over inflated according to the computer. But I’m hesitant to deflate from 40 to 35

From the Stock 225 65R17 all season Conti’s to my favorite tire, the 235 65R17 Yokohama Geolandars AT’s I had to drop one psi below what the door jam sticker says for cold psi.
Running 33 cold on a sixty degree day gave me 37 or 38 psi hot and this was a noticeably harsher ride.
I dropped cold psi to 31/32 psi and things soothed out nicely.
Tires still wearing correctly as far as I can tell at 36 psi hot.

Have you noticed any performance hit? Acceleration, braking, hiway cruising RPM.
Not sure the difference from stock on handling. I wish they were a touch wider. They do make a slight whine because of the tread pattern but that’s ok compared to the look. I’m going to push them out a bit this weekend with 1” spacers. They need to be.

Looks good.
Tire size confirmation: Did you install 245/70/17, or 245/65/17?
Most articles and max recommendations for non-lifted Bronco Sports are for 245/65R17,
and then some discussion of slight rubbing with 245/65/R17.
245/70R17 takes the diameter up a full inch over the 245/65R17 - 30.5 vs 29.5inches,
and 2 inches over stock 225/65R17.
I was planning on 235/70R17, for my yet to be built Badlander, and that would take diameter
to 30 inches, but being a bit narrower hopefully avoid pinch weld contact on full lock turns.

I went back and forth between 245/65 or 235 on our badlands and soooo glad I did the 245s. I think the 245/65/17 is perfect on it.

By any chance did you mean a 235/70/17, as that is 30" in diameter? I consider that to be the perfect size. Unfortunately none of my top four tires choices come in that size, so I will probably get a 245/65/17 or a 245/70/16, both of which are 29.5" in diameter.

So with the 1” spacers on full lock it rubs slightly but it looks killer. I’m going to cut the pinch weld a touch about 5 inches up is all it needs. But what can I do to push the felt back and keep it there?

Iam surprised that your tires haven't torn up your wheel wells yet, maybe where you live your roads and trails are like glass.
I'm even more surprised that you say the performance of the 1.5 hasn't taken a huge hit.
I'll continue watching with interest.

I Don't know what your deal is.
I'm just interested in the performance positives or negatives of running 70 series tire tires.

I just think he was just surprised as a 70 tire will generally rub especially on a non lifted model, and with the felt wheel well it's likely to tear that up. There's appeal for a 70 tire if it will work so I think people are genuinely curious and as other reports are it causes problems want to know situations where it might be viable...I'm gonna sit back and eat some popcorn now...

Yep, yep I did. I did mean 235/70R17 - thanks for the catch, and it's been corrected. Confusing enough with all the tire sizes being discussed, my throwing out / typing a wrong size doesn't help.

I am looking at Cooper Discoverer AT3, and they do offer 235/70R/17. Currently running them on my 2500 and have been very pleased. Much better traction over the Firestone AT's that came on the truck and was surprised at how quiet considering the more aggressive pattern. Have 41,000 on them and a good amount of tread left. Don't have a tread depth gage, about to the eyebrow line on Mr. Lincoln sitting as square as possible. I deal more with snow than sand, so looking for height over width.

Ouch on the flat tires, 225's or the optional 235 A/T's?
Post some pics please when you get the 235/70's installed, and share any fit issues.
