Still should be. The Wildpeak A/T Trail seems to be the better OVERALL tire (on and offroad) whereas the AT3W seems to be focused more on offroad ventures.
Ya just looked at both of the tires on their website. I guess it's not too bad. Its not as aggressive, but more of a in between, I'm ok with that considering I don't expect to be hardcore trailing all the time with it.

Yeah, unless you plan to venture WAY off the beaten path you should be served really well with the 235 A/T Trails.

I stand corrected. It appears the AT3s are OEM not the A/T Trails. You'll be okay either way.

No. The OEM ones are Wildpeak A/T Trail, not Wildpeak AT3W.
Mine are A/T3W from stock. This has been the case unless something recently changed.

This tire was specified by Ford which is why it has different specs than it’s smaller and larger cousins in the same family. I doubt they will change. But I also doubted they start removing non electronic parts due to commodity constraints.

Ford uses the wrong picture on the website.

I just received the Wildpeak AT Trail 235 65 17 tires today. They're going on our Bronco Sport BigBend since my wife will be using it more than me. It has excellent ratings and a smoother ride supposedly than the AT3W

Compared to the stock Continental ProContact 225 65 17s, they have a much wider tread, a little wider overall and just a little taller See pic attached. That's a whole lot more tread width than the ProContacts
I think they are a great alternative to the AT3W

Just posting for reference. I haven't notice any increased road noise compared to the stock Continentals. I wasn’t planning on new tires so soon (110 miles on BS) but already ran into some sliding at stop signs due to the Colorado snow. I knew I wanted the Wildpeak A/T3W's but was torn between stock size and 245’s. I feel the 235’s are a happy medium between looks, functionality and mpg. 235's were also the cheapest size! I included a receipt from Discount Tire to show about the price to pay for such tires with warranty and installation.

Smart move going with the 235s. Putting those same tires on my 2023 Big Bend next week. Can you show my where your tire bill came from. My tire shop said would price match

Your better off all around with the 235s. I am getting mine put on Thursday from Americas Tire for $860.00 out the door.
