Never understood why you would cut a hole in a perfectly good roof. My wife relented on the BS since the opening was behind our heads and didn’t put sun on your head.
I abhor them, with my blue eyes I get headaches from too much sun.

My 2016 Fusion had a sunroof and my 2019 Escape had a panoramic sunroof and I didn’t experience any problems whatsoever.
I didn’t use them as I consider them to be completely pointless. Sure, the panoramic sunroof looks cool for a day or two but I had it closed and covered up 99% of the time.
Considering the concept isn’t exactly new you would think they would have the design and installation down to a tee.

Didn't know it was an option on the BS. Seems most cars they come that way - had a 2010 Mini Cooper with a fantastic moon roof - they were known to explode too. Rarely if ever opened on any rig we owned.
About to get a BS on steroids - 2026 Honda Passport - yep huge moon roof.
