Believe that if it’s the factory AT tire option the only ones they have are the 235 17” Falkans.
Sure hope u r right!

Your not going to get a better tire deal than the optional Falken tires from the factory for your Badlands.

Agreed. I'm just hoping they don't use different tires for the 2024's...

The Falken WildPeak tires you can upgrade to when ordering are not the same Falken Wildpeak tires you can purchase aftermarket.

Remember that when you substitute from standard tires to the upgraded tire option you are not getting money back for taking the standard tires off your build (tires/mount/balance) was already included in the price of the vehicle. You are simply adding a higher price on. So you are giving 4 tires back to Ford for free and almost paying retail price for a set of new tires.

Another thing to remember that if you are financing, adding $525 on to your loan can add up quickly in interest.
$525 @ 3% on 5 years is about $9.50/month extra ($570 over 5 years)
@6% on 5 years is $10.15/month extra ($609 over 5 years)

If ordering aftermarket you could get rebates or cash back if using a credit card.

You could end up paying for your tires through your car financing well after the life of those original is up.
And you are on your second set of tires.

That's solid counsel; and, something I was chewing on in my mind, too. I'm likely further ahead to peel the stock tires off, sell them on Facebook market place for...even $500 and then add $300 and get the 245/65/17 Wildpeaks.

My wife's GMC Terrain uses the same standard size tires as the Bronco Sport and it was due for new tires when I got the Bronco Sport, so I upgraded to Wild Peaks and took the Continental tires that were on the BS and put them on the Terrain.

I got my dealer to upgrade to the AT tire option; but, they wouldn't commit to the brand/model. How many have NOT gotten the Wildpeak's with the upgraded $525 AT tire option? I have to say, I'd disappointed to get some crusty AT tires from another Company. Thanks!
The dealer's order Guide for the '24 Badlands, on the Options page 16, specifies the Falken Wildpeak 235/65/R17s

If a factory order, then that is what you will get.
No worry.
(T7F is the order code. O/I means Optional or Included in an Equipement Group.)

Going strictly by the numbers on the sidewall, the 235/65R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires sold by retailers are the same as those installed at the factory.

These are the specs listed on Falken's website:

Falken mentioned that the tread design was different from the Ford option to the retail option.

Yes, Falken sells a lot of different sizes for this tire, both OE and non-OE. Tire manufacturers often design tires to meet to meet an OE spec, which are generally designed to prioritize ride quality over looks/performance. Click this link and scroll down to the size list to see all the different versions of this tire available. Two things to note: there is only one 235/65R17 listed, and each size in the chart has its own specific specifications.

If you buy a different size Wildpeak AT3W from a retailer you may or may not get a non-OE version of the tire, but since Falken only lists one tire for the 235/65R17 size I'm almost certain if you buy that size from a retailer you will get the same tire Ford installs as a factory option.
