You can order the BB package without the moon roof. It isn't on the build and price website, but it is in the dealer order options. That's how I ordered mine.
- 2.0 option on all lower trims; V6 turbo option for upper trims - Options please!
- Sunroof should be an add-on; BB and BL packages should not be forced into a sunroof
- Optional Factory lift kits
- Optional pre-wired auxiliary switches available to roof and front/rear ends - ON ALL TRIMS
I get the want...I think the sales incentives across trims make them what they are. Otherwise why bother if 2.0/storage etc are universal. I get what you are saying. It's why I ordered the badlands. I was also happy with the bang for the buck for the big bend.
- 2.0 Option on all trims
- Sunroof Delete
- Higher Tow Capacity
- Cooled Seats
- Sync 4.0
- Under seat Storage on all trims.
- Rear vents
- Homelink
I know at one point my parents had a jeep liberty. Nothing fancy. They took it in for a recall and asked about memory seats. The tech said yeah we can do that it's in the system let me get my laptop. Boom...five minutes later power memory seats. Doesn't hurt to ask. Apparently it was a standard feature on european versions and just hidden in US tech programs. We got a badlands, happy with the eng., wish it had homelink and memory seats would be nice.
+1Integrated garage door opener
recently had to replace our 30 year old garage door opener. New tech...has a MyQ feature. I went the cheapest route and got one with just MyQ which apparently is most new openers these days. I had to get an extra wifi converter, but they have an app for your phone...maybe most of you already knew this. Assuming your phone works on your screen...wouldn't the MyQ app essentially function as a door opener feature? I like it so far. I can tell if I closed my door even when I get to work. Just my two cents
Race Red!!!2.3 engine option (yes I know it will never happen)
Race Red exterior color option (we might see this in later years)
Integrated garage door opener
I'm guessing you might be able to get it to function with the proper coding with say either remote identifying with a setting. No physical button but if it could recognize the keys maybe. I have Ross Tech VAG COM for my VW's and Audi and there are several tweeks to modules that aren't available here in the states. I'll have to check out Fords version.I know at one point my parents had a jeep liberty. Nothing fancy. They took it in for a recall and asked about memory seats. The tech said yeah we can do that it's in the system let me get my laptop. Boom...five minutes later power memory seats. Doesn't hurt to ask. Agreed. I really want to see the Alta and Kodiak "live" before ordering. A deep metallic maroon would be nice, too. The 4 cylinder Ecoboost would be a wise option on OB and BB. And, as you note, Ford's most up-to-date SYNC seems reasonable/logical.
- 4cyl option outside of badlands.
- Either more exterior colors or lighter hues instead of 4 that are basically black. I wanted to like the Alta and Kodiak that are on the configuration tool, but those colors don't exist on a lot. I know they held Velocity Blue for the big Bronco Y1 but there are a lot of choices in color.
- The Sync 4 because why not improve and make the thing faster? Faster = less time fiddling.
