Anyone else notice that the passenger side windshield wiper does not go all the way down to the resting position when using intermittent wiper setting. It does seat all the way down when you turn off the wipers. Is this Fords way of letting you know the wipers are engaged? Doesn't impact visibility or performance, just curious if this is common on other BS Big Bends?

My 2016 fusion did the same thing, I think it's basically like a standby mode type of thing, so they'll be ready to go as soon as they get the signal but it's totally normal for them to do that nothing to worry about

It is common on most vehicles, probably to help them operate.

Never noticed any of my vehicles not leaving the wiper up a bit when in intermittent or on.
All the way down is the park/off position.

When off, the wipers park down low, tucked under the hood. When on, they don't go down that low. This is by design, yes.
