12V Dc outlets port always on??

I just bought a 2023 Bronco Sport and noticed my dash cam stays on after I shut off the engine but it goes off after about one minute. I called Ford and they confirmed this. Others have said that it took hours, so maybe this is new for the 2023 version but I can confirm it definitely shuts off quickly.

I haven’t tested it personally but others report that the different 12V powerports in the BS (front at the dash), rear seat (if equipped), rear hatch (if equipped) have different amounts of time they stay on in their vehicle after shutting off the engine and existing the vehicle.

Btw in your test after shutting off the engine did you exit the vehicle and close the door? That may also give a different timeout.

Yes I exited the vehicle and my dash cam shut off in about a minute
