got the heat gun and will give it a try this weekend.

already remove the pins once to try...found out the plastic piece the pins secured to (which is attached to the backside of the bumper) already started to break off probably due to the impact.

meanwhile, enjoy nature's cyber orange

Have a buddy who hit a coyote with his F150 going 80. $3000 worth of damage including a bent tow hook.

I got the exact same dent from a rock on the trail. Just undo a few of the push pins on the felt fender liner for access to the back of the plastic bumper. Heat it up with a heat gun held about 6-8 inches away (don't roast the plastic!) and push on the back of the plastic with a hot pad until you've returned it to its regular shape. Push the pins back in and you're done.
In the same boat here, same dent too, I'm waiting to pop it out until I take the front end of for the camera, lights, and nudge bar I plan to install

I noticed the same, plastic seems thin on those tabs.

I have considered cutting out the sections of bumper in front of the wheels, it really is in the way for even mild rock crawling.
I think that's why a few here on the forum is looking for an after market bumper with better approach angle. I remember seeing some threads about it, somebody, or a shop, has made a custom bumper.

or...find another rock, or a coyote, to even out the on the other side ...I don't think we are losing much aerodynamic efficiency or downforce :)

I read about a head on collision that killed 8 people because someone swerved to avoid a dead dog on the road. Vehicles are repairable and replaceable. People sometimes not so much.
