I'm going on 5 months now and the noise is gone. Not even a hint of a sound. The dealer did it under TSB 24-2348.

Mine does it too with the car off but not all the time. Everytime it does do it I'm like WTF? ?

Good luck but I doubt they're going to do diddly squat about it. It's NOT right but that's Ford for you. The latest fix actually came out in October when I had mine fixed. It's been 4 months now and not a beep. I thank this forum for the heads up.

Could he mean the Hot Pepper Red ? I've had people "love" my 22 orange BSBB.

TSB 24-2348 worked for me and I had it done about 2 months ago. No charge either.

Consider yourself lucky and just leave it alone.

Well it's been over a month now and the moan is still gone. It's been rainy and cold the last few days and the brakes are fine. If it were to do it this morning when I backed out of the driveway would have been the day. I was almost half expecting it. lol Just hope it lasts.

Totally agree. I've always figured that dealers make more from used cars than new ones. I once had a girl friend who bought a new Mercury and traded in her used Topaz on a 1/2 hr LUNCH BREAK ! She was totally taken to the cleaners. They must have drooled when they saw her coming in by herself.

I didn't notice any difference in the brakes as far as being firmer. It's been very rainy and in the upper 30's here in Buffalo and so far so good as far as the moaning sound. This fix I had done a month ago seems to have done the trick. ( knock knock)

I went in to the dealer, West Herr Ford of Amherst (NY) ,this morning at 9am. I showed him a copy of TSB 24-2348. He read it, punched some keys on the computer, and said "Yup it's covered in full. " I feel that showing him the actual TSB helped a lot but 3 hrs later I rolled out of the...

I'm 74 and TOTALLY agree. I will be buying a new SUV next fall when the warranty is off my 2022 BSBB.

I just called my Ford Dealership about this latest TSB on the moaning brakes. Dealer told me they have to look at it 1st then submit it to Ford to see if it's covered in my particular case. They do that on a case by case basis. I'm taking it in Thursday at 9am. I will give everyone an update...

When I had my dealer do my last oil change they were going to order the new parts for the moan noise on the brakes. After 2 months of hearing NOTHING I called them and was told the new parts won't help at all and that was the last l heard. Frustrating

TOTALLY unexceptable. At least not if they want you to ever even consider buying a Ford ever again. My dealer has been very good but I've only had it in there for 2 oil changes.
