I read the dealer work and they stated in the work they flushed the system. Also, looks like there was a new Ford part number update to the water pump. I now have a -C rev. Here's to hoping third time is the charm!!

Update...2nd water pump failed at 54k miles! Only lasted 16k! WOWZA!

2022 1.5L, 50k miles. Only issue has been the dreaded water pump around 35k. Other than that, no complaints! Just documenting for future internet lurkers.

Why are you changing out the trans fluid? Are you at 150k miles yet?

Please update back with what they find! I'm willing to accept a little engine sweat, but if it's a known issue I'll have my dealer investigate as well.

During my oil changes I noticed the tiniest bit of oil at the transmission to engine area mount as well like your first picture.

Had mine done at 38k miles. Dealer flushed the entire system per the TSB and I got the -B level water pump part number. Fingers crossed it's good!

Where is the location of these pictures? If you want to check the water pump, look at the actual weep hole.

What makes you say that? Are there known major components of this engine that fail pre-200k? I'm assuming 150k+ you'd begin to worry about the transmission, timing belt, and turbo. All replaceable with a fat wallet and a repair manual.
