I likely won't buy another vehicle w/o adaptive cruise.
One negative -> When I am driving my 2015 F150 w/cruise on, I have to REMIND MYSELF that it won't slow down automatically.
I ordered a Maverick early July 22 (a couple days after it was announced). Months later (November), I was having problems with my old clunker (2006 Outback w/150K miles on it) and needed a car. I was fortunate enough to find an in-transit Bronco Sport Badlands that the dealer was willing to...
If I went for a new one, I too would be concerned about the 1.5L vs. 2.0L. I have a 2021 Badlands and it has been great in the snow/ice and plenty of pep, but no real need for the real off road things (e.g. Sand or Rock Crawl). I have tried locking the diff once in a bad snow storm just to try...
Thanks all. I decided to order the Falken A/T3W's, having them shipped to my door.
I'm thinking of doing a trip late March/early April out west - don't want to go that distance with Stud's on (especially through states like IL where studs are illegal) so the new tires will get a workout.
Responded to your DM.
I have the AT/3W's (235 /65 R17) in my cart.
The issue I am facing is that my son has the vehicle in PA at the moment, but is an OTR (over the road) truck driver. Because of this, it is difficult to pick an appointment time as when he will next be in the area is...
I took a look at them at @Discount Tire but I have no semi-local stores. It doesn't appear that they ship? I do sometimes travel to PA (the vehicle is actually there w/my son at the moment), so maybe I could arrange things to do while passing through.
Hello all -
I am a somewhat infrequent visitor to the the site these days. I've tried reading some of the threads, this is an apology in advance if this has been covered frequently.
I have a 21 Bronco Sport Badlands with the "base" wheels/tires, i.e. the 225's. I also run in the winter...
Yep, it might be a tough choice and yes I am glad I managed to snag the BS BL.
Right now I live in upstate NY (plenty of ice and snow here), and just about the first thing I did was to buy some Maverick Steel wheel takeoffs and put nokian hakkapeliitta 10's 235/65R17 (Studded Snows) on it...
I have a similar story. Ordered a 22 Maverick (Lariat Lux Hybrid), still waiting (but supposed to be built this week). In late November I grew tired of waiting, happened onto a BS BL in-transit which I managed to get at MSRP. (Folks in this forum encouraged me to not pass up the deal.)...
Something very strange about this. Where I live, there ar plenty of people with firearms and I’ve never heard of anyone having their vehicle shot.
Maybe it’s that people who grew up with firearms learn and understand about how to handle them, and realize any shot in the air has to land...
I picked up my BS Badlands on December 9th.
$35,580 MSRP
$75 transfer plate (state fee, estimated and might get a tiny bit back on old vehicle registration)
$175 doc fee
$10 state vehicle inspection
$12.50 state tire disposal fee (have to pre-pay on new tires, my state sucks)
$2845.40 state...
Replace with WHAT speakers? That is, how much of this is labor and how much for parts, and if so what parts.
Heck, an audio control D-6.1200 runs $1200 just by itself! :)
Anyone have one of these? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SLB88NF?smid=A1414VXPRG3B1P&th=1
Unfortunately, the price has gone up from the $37 range to the current $42 or so, all while I've had it in my cart for a week or so. So, I am holding off but am curious to see if others have any...
Especially one that is 15 years old! :)
The deal is set. Figures agreed to, financing set. Going to pick it up in a few days.
Financed everything (minus the most I could do as a credit card down payment) @ 0% for 36 months. Payments will be a bit "hefty" (slightly over 1K/month).
