I have had my Base since 2021 and have had no problems. I have owned multiple Ford vehicles and haven't had any problems except regular maintenance.

The base model is the one with the physical key and doesn't have the keypad entry.

Look up other vehicle manufacturers and they have problems also. I have 2021 Base in Vancouver and have had no problems.
