I loved my 21 OB for the first couple years too, drove it with zero problems. Then, out of the clear blue, it stranded me twice completely losing power in the middle of the road. It scared the crap out of me and it put myself in great danger of being injured.
I lost all faith in the car and...
I quickly came to the same conclusion as you regarding the Ford reps who reply on this site. It's all a joke to make themselves look better.
My 21 OB stranded me twice within a couple weeks. Since I lost faith in both Ford and my OB I've traded it in on another vehicle. It was very off-putting...
I'd get rid of it. That's what I did after my 2021 OB stranded me twice within 8 days. I was fed up with the Bronco and my local Ford dealer. I had a tinge of guilt the first couple days but that feeling soon left me.
Recently the same thing happened to me. Search my user name for more details.
First time they replaced the battery, 2nd time was a bad/loose ground wire. I'm sure the 2 incidents are connected to one another.
Good luck with a diagnosis/fix.
Be careful with this warning. I had this warning a couple times, the car started and I thought all was well. Within a day or 2 my BS OB completely failed while stopped at a red light. Battery replaced, then car failed again a week later.
No I don't, this is above my paygrade ;). The paperwork says "Found chassis ground backed off from body, resecured ground, vehicle started. Cleared codes and tested functionality."
I'm suspicious due to this happening one week after new battery installed but it could be a coincidence.
I thought the same thing. The sad part is that my car sat on their lot for 11 days waiting for the diagnosis. Fortunately, they gave me a loaner car and I'm grateful for that however my overall experience has left me annoyed.
Update to the trials and tribulations of the failures of my 2021 Outer Banks. Short recap, awesome car for first 2+ years, 23,500+ miles. Out of the clear blue it completely failed at a red stop light, went into auto stop, then completely shut down. My portable battery jump got me home and then...
When my 2021 OB was towed out of my garage last week (see my other threads for details) the tow truck driver pulled the manual release to attempt to get the car into neutral. That set the parking brake right away which he thought was a safety feature installed by Ford. Obviously not to practical...
Sounds like the first time my car died a few weeks back, see my thread here:

As most of you know my car left me stranded in traffic a couple weeks back and all ended well with the dealer installing a new AGM battery under warranty.
Well, the new battery was literally one week old today and this morning my car would not start, would not take a battery jump, nothing...
A quick update, jumped the battery and drove to the dealer rather than towing. They ran a diagnostic on it and indeed it was the battery. They replaced it with an AGM battery and 2 hours later I was on my way.
A couple side notes, the battery was tested earlier in Oct and all was good with it...
I'm hoping to limp my Bronco Sport to the dealer tomorrow for a fix to my issues (fingers crossed!) and I will keep you all posted. Meanwhile it occurred to me to check my Ford Pass app on my phone for the error messages I received after my car died. After jumping the battery with my portable...
Agreed, but last week when my car died while waiting at a red light it scared the crap out of me. The flashers did not work, the doors would not unlock. I'm pretty sure it went into "auto stop" then into complete failure. I'm driving a 21 OB, <2.5 years old, <24,000 miles. I've never had any...
