  1. Off-roading tips?

I have a 2021 Outer Banks and it does very well in loose sand as I have discovered on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Using stock Michelin tires I deflated to 18psi and it handled fine. Still have pics taken of wild horses at Corolla within 50 yards of the Bronco- both mean freedom to me.

Thanks for sending the picture. I came to Va. Beach in '69 and The Outer Banks was sort of a locals secret and a great place to fish. The Hatteras seashore is a national park- and that keeps it pretty wild and pristine. But north of Nags Head it has become a circus.

I hadn't been up there in years and was surprised by the numbers of people there. The car line coming in when we left Saturday around 3pm was at least 10 miles long bumper to bumper. The little town of Duck has just about everything you need and there are many hundreds of rental homes and...

To question 1: The low tire indication came on and stayed as I recall. When we reached the beach ramp after airing down it made it tough to see my goat modes so I could switch to sand. To question two- I dont recall now if the low tire indicator was showing while in sand mode. Maybe someone...

  8. 1.5l Bronco Sport in the sand?

Just took my Bronco Outer Banks to Corolla Beach (and north) on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I had the Michelin Primacys (these are not all/terrain tires) lowered to 20 and they did find in mostly soft sand. (See my "Review #2 in Bronco Sport General Forum w pictures). Its a 1.5 and it...
  9. Bronco Sport Outer Banks Review #2 On The Outer Banks of NC Today

Today is the day before Father's Day, and I took my son and son-in-law south to North Carolina's Outer Banks- 180 miles of wide beaches- much of it 4X4 country. In my first review I mentioned that I wanted to try the Michelin Primacy tires, which are not all-terrain to see how well they did on...

  11. Bronco Sport Outer Banks My Review #1

I have no answer for you other than these 2021 Bronco Sports, thanks to late delivery, chip shortages, and options shortages, are going to be collectors items- like the 64 1/2 Mustang.
  12. Bronco Sport Outer Banks My Review #1

I checked and the 8.5 seconds you give is correct. That's quick enough for me and I don't plan on taking the old route across the Bighorns. I'll be on the beaches. If these chip shortages continue the 2021 Bronco Sports may become a collector's item.

Thats great! Thanks for this feedback. I'll make a note to take Traction Control off.
  15. Bronco Sport Outer Banks My Review #1

Thanks- and how did those mountain bikes fit? The "Safari roof" on the Sport really gives clearance inside. The first thing my 6ft 2 son noticed was the extra headroom in side.

There are only two colors offered. One is "Roast' which is brown.black. The other is Navy Pier, which is blue /Grey. Hope this helps.
  17. Bronco Sport Outer Banks My Review #1

I ordered my Bronco Sport Outer Banks in January and it was delivered via freight train from Coahilla Mexico in April. I love this car- its my 35th- so I can compare it to lots of makes and models. It's by far the best I've ever owned. It was a long decision between the Badlands and the Outer...
