And then theres videos like this of people waterfording sucessfully in pretty deep stuff... I wonder if there were production issues on some sports to keep that stuff dry. Regardless, that sucks, good luck, i hope they cover that for you
Thanks! Wind noise is a little increased but not bad. I was expecting worse to be honest. I havent packed it out yet though, only with recovery gear for a beach trip so far. So i cant say how that will be with more gear on it.
Thanks! I ordered mine through REI. They are partnered with Yakima and licensed to sell their stuff. Just make sure you get all the pieces. I ordered the timberline towers and lock n load SL adaptors with mine so I can attach the rack to the factory roof rails without the need for a cross bar
Wow.. pretty crazy. thankful I got my badlands in Janurary! Wonder how long this will last for and the impact it will have in dealer pricing and trade in value
No problem. Got them on tire rack. 165 per tire plus they have a 70$ rebate going on now for the next week or so. Had them shipped to a local tire shop near me, all labor there was $50 but that could change depending where you go for yours...
Granted, mine is a badlands and i upgraded the tires to Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s but i take mine on the beach. Handles great. Really the most important thing about beach driving is airing down properly and keeping up momentum with an even throttle, and having recovery gear! Im sure you can in an...
Took my Badlands onto the Long Island beaches yesterday for the first time (democrats point at Robert Moses). If you have the 4x4 fishing pass just make sure you have all the mandatory supplies, and a pair of recovery boards, one of my buddies got stuck this weekend and had to use these to get...
Took the Bronco on the beach for the first time, with the new Discoverer AT3 4s tires, for some fishing and camping. Got a platform rack (not pictured) so my “Trail Rig” look is almost complete! The sand was real soft this trip but nothing the badlands couldn’t handle.
For me, I was between a suburu forester sport, bronco sport badlands, and 2d bronco. Mind you, in addition to handing my active lifestyle of hiking, backpacking, snow boarding, mountain biking, over landing, taking it on to the beach, it was going to be my daily driver. The bronco sport badlands...
I’m currently at 26.2 mpg total for my badlands. ~2k miles in. Although I did just put some Discoverer at3 4s tires on so I’m curious the impact this will have on my mpg avg. small sample but around 100 miles on the new tires I don’t notice much, even had a 31mpg half hour trip on them the other...
I have the ford all weather mats and love them. Look great and definitely did not want to keep the carpet considering all the off road, hiking, mountain biking etc that i do. I reccomend orderng them from Levittown Ford
Where is the Low button located? ive read this in the manual too and now im trying to picture in my head where it is and i cant.. going to have to check this out next time i drive
