I did get a quote from another shop (about 80 miles away) and they wanted $800 just to do the hood.

Had the hood on my FE wrapped with XPEL paint protection film today in addition I had the sunroof tinted w/35% ceramic tint to reduce the amount of light and heat that was coming through it. I typically keep it closed because it makes the interior too hot and too bright, but not anymore...

I don't know if this is in the works or not but I would be surprised if Ford didn't offer a hybrid BS next year. Just seems to make sense to me and I'm sure it would help sell even more of them. Time will tell I'm sure.
