So I saw my first "big" Bronco yesterday and it felt a lot like meeting my girlfriend's much hotter sister. I kept telling myself to stay away from her because while I know that she's a lot more fun I also know that she's high maintenance and would ultimately cost me an arm & a leg.
Just out of curiosity; do you think that those KO2s would fit under a FE/BL w/o any extra lift or would there be a chance for rubbing? I need to slip this type of stuff past my wife a little at a time. ;)
Thanks for the info and @FordBroncoLifts would definitely be my choice. I'm still mulling over what tires to get (I have an FE as well) and trying to decide if I want to do a lift and tires at the same time or the tires first and then the lift.
Decisions, decisions.
I had heard somewhere that the manufacturers were actually building the vehicles w/o the necessary chips w/plans to go back and install them once they had inventory. This would then allow them to ship those vehicles quickly.
@FordBroncoLifts
How much lift is there on this FE and could you share the tire info too? They look like KO2s. Do you by chance happen to know what the maximum lift is for a BL?
Thanks!
Back in April we did about 1500 miles in my FE from Upstate NY to WV, Va & back and I averaged around 26mpg. Didn't have a roof rack (I even removed the cross bars) but we were definitely loaded down.
Last week I drove a base model rental to Dayton, OH and back, and averaged just over 30mpg...
