Holly oaks ORV park is open for the last day of the year 10/01/2022 if anyone wants to try it out. I plan on taking the bronco.
The bronco now has 800 miles on it. The lift and tires are now on and I'm looking to see how it does on some of the hills. I'll be there bright and early in the grey...
Welcome, I'm new as well to the forum and to bronco ownership and ford in general other then a couple mustangs way back in my younger years.
So far loving my bronco, hope you do as well.
Thanks guys for the pics, they both look great. I ended up going with 235/60/18 goodyear workforce. they look pretty nice. i'll post up pics later today or tomorrow.
Thanks guys, both great responses… very appreciated.
just got off the phone with bell tire. Ordered good year work force tires. 245/60r/18, it will have to do.
Lifted sport outer banks with rough country 1.5 lift. Went to bell tire and they told basically nothing for options to get more aggressive tires… is that true?
Anyone have pics of tires they put on there lifted outer banks with the 18” rims. I don’t know much about tires so sorry for the dumb...
I have some more stickers but i want to keep it street legal ... can't make it to fast lol
I was actually on the fence about the sticker as I've never been into them but I've never been into off roading either, so there's a first for everything.
ah who cares what others say. I have big trucks, sports cars and now this new sport.. i love em all, wide bodied ones, narrow bodied ones, lifted ones, squatted ones.. I love em all.. vehicles to lolol
enjoy your vehicle and ignore the ignorant.
lift kit is on, i just need to paint the drivers side calipers still and put on drivers side front fender flare still and the wheel stuff will be done other then selecting the new tires to buy.. any suggestions?
in the pic from the rear i took, it was after the passenger side lift was on and...
Spent a couple minutes on it this morning. Door panels come off very easily.
calipers look good but id suggest using a self etching primer if your going to do it.
I did clean then them and degrease them put this side i have a feeling paint wont last long. Will be using a primer on driver side.
I watched a vid of someone pulling them off. Made it look like they pulled right off with ease… I ruined my passenger side flares. Broke about 75% of the clips and I didn’t even strong arm it. My aftermarket ones haven’t shown up yet so I’m not sure what’s required of those to put them on. But...
One side calipers painted. I went with yellow thinking against the grey it would pop the best.
sure makes it easy with the vehicle only having 100 mikes on it lol clean and bolts come out without bloody knuckles
just having fun;)
Thank you for the heads up, I will keep an eye on them. they looked to be a little sturdier then the factory ones but aftermarket is rarely better then OEM so ?
I watched a video of the flare install and they pulled them off... I hope I didn't pull them off for nothing lol I'll find out
Thank you
Passenger side lift kit is on and rear passenger door is waiting for the speaker connectors to get here. Fender flares are off waiting for the new ones to get here as well. would like to do everything for the the passenger side before moving over to the other.
The front strut lift install...
I used the sand mode and it seemed to do it really well. the video doesn't do it justice on how steep the little hills were it was a blast. I've never been into off road type vehicles and always built and drove fast cars so this is going to be a new hobby . I have half my lift kit...
