Basically there are 5 kinds of lifts for Badlands available.
1. Spacers front and rear.
2. Spacers front and springs rear.
3. Springs front and rear.
4. Coilovers front and springs rear.
5. Replacement struts front and spacers rear.
You just have to decide which end of the pool you want...
255/65R/17's are not just wider than the 245"s you currently have they are also taller which increases the chances of rubbing if you aren't already doing so.
You would probably better off with wheel spacers than changing to a larger tire.
I have roughly the same mileage as you, my Badlands is a 2021. At my last service just a couple of months ago I was told my rear shocks were leaking. I still have not verified if they are leaking or not. On a side note besides OEM there are not many choices for replacement, it's either Rough...
Solvang area is fun, different things to see and do.
Your pic shows why I don't like parking the Sport around full size Bronco's, to me it makes the Sport look like a toy.
At least happening in transit Ford is fixing it on their dime and you are potentially getting a kick back.
If somebody hits it with a shopping cart or a car door dings it in a parking lot, it would be on you and you'd be pissed off.
Overall not a big deal, they don't stay new forever, if your...
I have a 2021 Badlands and it's straight line street performance is pretty good, it's actually quick. It's a decent road trip vehicle (open highway) as a canyon carver it's not so great, it seems tippy and doesn't want to turn into corners unless you trail brake into the turns. I'm talking...
Great look, it actually looks lifted compared to photos of Sports with the typical 1.5" lift. When are the big meats going to make an appearance. If you are really going to off road it, might be worth thinking about 16" rims so you can run taller sidewall tires for more flex.
I do know how the RDU works, and the shuddering isn't a good sign. Others here have had the same issue and ended up with having the RDU replaced even after having the fluid change and updated vent tube installed.
The latest TSB supplies a parts kit to basically rebuild the RDU rather than...
Unfortunately the vent hose and fluid swap is basically a band aid TSB for an RDU that's on its way out. It may quiet down initially with the fluid change but ultimately the RDU will need to be replaced or repaired. There is a new TSB that is an actual repair. If your vehicle is still under...
While the end of 2025 is rapidly approaching, there has not been that much news regarding 2026 Sports other than the possibility of additional colors and potentially a Tremor package. I'd be more interested if 2026 adds another price hike. Depending on options, the 2025's were approaching 50k...
That's opening a can of worms.
I have a 2021 Badlands, tried the 1.5 models before purchasing, to me it was a night and day difference, yes the 2.0 doesn't get the fuel mileage of the 1.5 but that wasn't the driving factor for me. I wanted the Badlands powertrain and the other goodies the...
I'll wait until my stock exhaust gets smashed or rots out. If I had to choose, I think the Magnaflow has the the best balance between cost, sound and looks.
In hot weather climates 91 or higher octane makes a lot of sense, with hot weather the chances of pre-detonation is greater, using higher octane fuel helps to prevent that as well as the associated power loss.
OEM, Rough Country and Bilstein offerings are more budget friendly.
Flatout makes great stuff, personaly I wouldnt invest that much into suspension for the Sport
If I had a full size Bronco, I'd be a different story.
As SgtT11B noted, the engine performance of the Sport is optimized when using 91 or higher octane fuel. It allows the engine to operate at full potential.
Because the engine feels like it runs more spirited you tend to drive more spirited as well.
Will you see a big jump in fuel mileage, not...
Yes the owners manual says the vehicle operates on 87 octane fuel. The owners manual also says for best overall performance use 91 or higher octane fuel.
While I do not have a 2025 Badlands, I do have a 2021 Badlands and typically use 91 octane fuel, it doesn't cost that much more and I do...
Having a fast blinking turn indicator has happened to a number of people here including myself, it's typically caused by one of the brake light bulbs being bad.
When replaced the fast blinking will stop.
Great news that your son was not injured.
Unfortunately, if your son actually rear-ended someone I'd be more concerned about that.
Even with what seems like the most minor damage, if the other person or persons claim they are injured it can spiral into a situation that you don't want or need...
Gag, that's more than I paid for my Badlands, though that was in 2021.
If your happy with it that's all that matters.
To me Ford is going to price themselves out of the market, just like with the upper level S650 Mustang GT"s they run in the 60K range and the Dark Horse is another 15k on top...
